StarBattle is a fast-paced twist to the traditional "battle fleet" game. It will bring back old memories, with an updated look and familiar feel. Either two players, over a bluetooth connection, play against each other or, a single player challenge the app's virtual opponent. The winner is the player scoring more points before the ammunition is over. There are two play modes: Single and Multi. .Single Player mode: Match against a virtual opponent. A saved match can be resumed. When a new match starts all the ships are placed randomly and their position and rotation can be adjusted. Double-tap an empty location to start the game. A swipe left move back and forth between spaces. The Home button can be selected at any time to save the game. .Multi Player mode: Initially a list of all nearby devices which are also running the game is shown. Each player selects an opponent's device from the list. Only one opponent can ben selected. A saved match can be resumed. If the players disagree regarding restoring a saved match the one who selected the "YES" button will be declared the winner. Differently than what happens in single player mode, a second prompt indicates whether or not the opponent is ready to play. When both players are ready the screen flips to the enemy space page and the battle can start. Both players can shoot at the same time by double-tapping the target spot. If at any moment there problems with the Bluetooth link a "Connection Lost" alert is displayed. Use the slider at the bottom of the screen to quickly scroll the battlefield sideways. Also notice that the total amount to points is calculated adding the shots left, so mind your ammunition wisely, it can make you a winner. The Setup page presents controls to configure sound (on/off), and virtual opponent level. Please select "How to Play" for additional details.
